Magda and Andrzej stand on the threshold of adulthood, which they have yet to understand. They’ve lost track of their studies, and their first challenges—finding an apartment and a job—reveal just how fragile the adult world is. In their family homes, they feel like guests in lives that aren’t truly theirs, while everyday reality hits them with brutal realism—loyalty, trust, and innocence prove to be more delicate than they had imagined. Their relationship becomes a mirror of youthful coming-of-age: sometimes full of tenderness, sometimes painful, always uncertain. Symbolic scenes—a man with a dog—serve as a reminder that the loss of innocence can be tragic and irreversible. "You Have to Kill This Love" is a story about crossing the boundaries of childhood and the first encounter with a world that doesn’t ask for permission.
