The film tells the story of a young Jew who, in search of his identity, embarks on a journey of discovering Jewish tradition and religion. His path takes him through Krakow’s Kazimierz district, a synagogue, Hebrew lessons, and encounters with people who help him understand the past. The film combines contemporary explorations with archival footage depicting the lives of Jews in pre-war Poland and the tragedy of the Holocaust. It is a tale of a spiritual journey, remembrance of ancestors, and the quest for one’s own identity.
