The film tells the story of a young boy, Tomek, in a minimalist way. He moves into a rented room and quickly becomes obsessively interested in the woman living opposite him. At first, his fascination with Magda is superficial, driven only by curiosity and youthful desire, but over time it develops into a deeper feeling. The film focuses on the development of this one-sided, almost pathological obsession, where Tomek begins to spy on Magda, initially through binoculars and later with a stolen telescope. His observation becomes increasingly obsessive and pulls him out of his own solitude, experienced as a foster child. Experiencing emotions he has never felt before, the young boy cannot distinguish between mere fascination and true love, and the film shows how the boundaries between these feelings can blur.
