In the summer, two completely different worlds meet in Gdańsk: she, a modern French woman traveling with her diplomat father, and he, a young Polish actor dreaming of ideal love. The brief moments they spend together become an illusion of closeness – language and everyday life separate them more than their hearts draw them together. The city, the little theater, and the summer become the stage for a fleeting first fascination, whose echo remains in memory forever. The film theater Tik-Tak is in fact the legendary Gdańsk student theater Bim-Bom (1954-60), whose artistic mentor was none other than Zbigniew Cybulski, then an actor of the Wybrzeże Theater.
