You Are God

The film tells the story of the formation of the band Paktofonika, led by Magik. The action begins with his mysterious disappearance before a concert and then flashes back to the band's early days. After his success with the project Kaliber 44, Magik decides to create a new group, where along with Rahim and Fokus—high school students from Silesia—they begin building their careers. The beginnings are tough: they face financial difficulties, lack of support from their families, and on top of that, Magik’s personal life becomes complicated by his girlfriend’s unplanned pregnancy. Despite the hardships, the boys start achieving their first successes thanks to mutual loyalty and a passion for music. After their first concert, the single "Priorytety," and their debut album, they gain recognition on the music scene, even though they are not yet making any profit. The film portrays their struggle for their dreams despite the odds, and how friendship and a love for hip-hop help them achieve success.
