1988
Laguna, a former footballer and now a referee approaching fifty, is regarded as a symbol of integrity, though he harbors a guilty conscience. Sobering up in the club's boiler room, he becomes part of the negotiations between the presidents battling for the Polish championship title – the "Czarni" from Silesia and Legia. The president of Legia and Laguna’s wife, Łapówka, try to manipulate him, not anticipating the cunning of Bola, a former player and alcoholic, and old friends from the pitch, including the injured Grom. The young Grom, a talented player, enters the game, bringing the old teammates closer together. This time, Laguna decides to deceive everyone except his friends. The film was shot, among other locations, at Legia Stadium in Warsaw and Górnik Stadium in Zabrze.
