The main character is Dominik (J. Gierszał), a high school student growing up in a family where everything seems to be in place—except for genuine attention and connection with his parents. His father, a deputy minister (K. Pieczyński), and his mother, the head of an advertising agency (A. Kulesza), are too preoccupied with their own affairs to devote time to their son. At the prom, under the influence of his peers, Dominik is persuaded to share a kiss with a classmate. A recording of the moment is posted online and becomes a source of ridicule both at school and on social media. Faced with an emotional crisis, Dominik begins seeking escape on the internet, where he connects with a mysterious girl (R. Gąsiorowska). Through her avatar, he experiences imagined adventures, and this virtual figure becomes more attractive and attentive to him than reality. His parents attempt to help him through therapy, but their efforts fail. As Dominik immerses himself deeper into the virtual world, he drifts further from the real one, and "she" becomes his only support. The film addresses themes of loneliness, social pressure, and the growing role of the internet in the lives of modern teenagers, showing how virtual relationships can fill an emotional void that remains unsatisfied in the real world.
