Spiritual Retreat

Witold Leszczyński’s third feature film explores the artist’s relationship with the world and different approaches to practicing art. The film contrasts two attitudes: Marek, who subordinates his talent to commercial goals for profit, and Adam, a musician who devotes himself entirely to art, sacrificing material gains but gaining inner harmony and a sense of the value of his own achievements.
