Janusz, a young IT specialist, works in the security department of a large store. One day, he notices Monika Małecka, a well-known political leader, on the surveillance monitor committing a minor theft. It turns out that Małecka suffers from kleptomania, which she is trying to treat with a psychoanalyst. Despite her political status and personal issues, Janusz becomes interested in her. A bond forms between them, but Monika struggles to fully trust Janusz, especially knowing that he holds compromising evidence—a recording of her theft. Janusz, in love with Monika, decides to erase the evidence from the computer’s memory, hoping to build an honest relationship without secrets. He dreams of a trip to Nepal together, which would fulfill her dreams, but Monika gradually grows distant, consumed by preparations for the upcoming election campaign.
