The story of a boy named Paragon, whose passion for football lands him in one scrape after another. As the striker and treasurer of the neighborhood football team “Syrenka,” Paragon knows no limits when it comes to his love for the game – though, in his mind, everything he does “legally” serves just one purpose: to win the match and achieve football glory. When "Życie Warszawy" announces a wild team tournament, “Syrenka” decides to enter, competing against the equally determined team “Huragan.” The film portrays the struggles of young players brimming with enthusiasm, ambition, and childhood courage. Paragon faces challenges that force him to confront not only opponents on the pitch but also his own personal limitations and relationships with his teammates. The film is based on Adam Bahdaj’s novel "Halftime 0:1."
