The film tells the story of the outstanding rally driver Richard Fox, who, along with his brother Thomas, achieved numerous sporting successes. During one rally, both suffer a serious accident and are taken to a clinic where a brilliant surgeon performs complex organ transplant operations—unfortunately, Thomas dies, while Richard survives with many of his brother’s organs inside him. After the tragedy, a dispute erupts over compensation with the insurance company—the firm claims only 30% of the sum is due, arguing that only part of the deceased was buried while the remaining organs function inside Richard's body. The driver hires a lawyer to claim the remaining amount, but the case proves very difficult. When Richard participates in another rally, another accident occurs, killing eight people, including Thomas’s widow. Richard survives thanks to the surgeon’s intervention, but his body is now largely “patched together” with organs from the accident victims, dramatically complicating his life.
