The main character is a middle-aged architect who decides to leave city life behind and settle in a village in the Masovian countryside, seeking an escape from the chaos of civilization. In the countryside, far from the urban noise, he finds peace, yet the only reminder of the modern world is a nearby hydro construction site, symbolizing technological progress and humanity’s intervention in nature. Gradually, the protagonist builds relationships with the villagers and immerses himself in their simple yet rich rhythm of life. Through these daily interactions and the local landscape, he discovers the meaning he had been searching for over the years in the complex urban world.
