The story of a group of children from the Maliszewo orphanage who receive the latest computer as a Christmas gift, donated by Jacek Bromowski, a former ward who made an international career and is now the owner of a major electronics corporation. One night, the computer starts operating on its own and tells the children a story set 25 years in the future. It describes the mysterious disappearance of the spaceship ARGO-1417, which vanished during the Earth-Titan-Eureka voyage. It turns out the ship was abducted by the Great Electronic, who was conducting research on the planet Mango to develop an invention enabling the teleportation of people and objects—phantomization. Mr. Kleks, who has left the fairy-tale world, now lives in a nature reserve. He soon learns about the ship’s disappearance but initially refuses to take part in the rescue mission, believing the children have long forgotten about it; however, he will soon change his mind.
