The story takes place in 1946, when an elderly cordwainer returns from a concentration camp. During his absence, the villagers he left behind contributed to the death of his son and looted his belongings. Desperate and filled with rage, the cordwainer returns to his hometown, ready for revenge. The film explores how war, the traumas it brings, and moral dilemmas fuel a spiral of hatred and vengeance. The protagonist, who endured the hell of the camp for many years, returns to a world that not only betrayed him but also destroyed his life and family. Revenge becomes his way of reclaiming some of what he lost, though over time his quest for justice begins to clash with what is morally right.
