The story of a young man from Greater Poland who sets off to Germany in search of better prospects, adventures, and opportunities. He travels across the country, taking on various jobs, gaining new experiences, but also engaging in romances and changing lovers. His life is a constant wandering, full of ups and downs, as he tries to find meaning and stability. Finally, after years of searching, he lands a job as a tram driver and starts a family, finding the peace that had always seemed within reach but elusive. The film is a tale of coming of age, a journey through life filled with quests and failures, as well as an attempt to find one’s place in a world that doesn’t always offer simple answers. It is also a story about how stability and family can become the answer to youthful dreams of freedom and adventure.
