Mr. Samochodzik sets off on a mountain vacation with Joanna and her son, little Piotruś. The boy dreams of adventures and quickly picks up a lead—overhearing a conversation that suggests someone is planning a murder. Soon, it turns out to be just the idea of a crime writer, Mr. Arizona. However, when the beautiful actress Diana disappears from the film set, the situation takes on a truly thrilling turn. Mr. Samochodzik and his companions begin an investigation that leads them to uncover an art smuggling ring. In a chase filled with various vehicles and unexpected twists, cleverness—and Mr. Samochodzik’s reliable car—prevail. The film is based on Zbigniew Nienacki’s novel MR. SAMOCHODZIK AND THE GOLDEN GLOVE.
