The film depicts the gradual downfall of a family whose fate is inextricably linked to the history of Silesia and the social and political changes occurring in the region. Against the backdrop of economic crises, the Silesian uprisings, and the growing threat of Nazism, the fortunes of the von Teuss family begin to unravel. As the political situation in Silesia becomes increasingly tense, internal family intrigues and dramas intensify the crisis.
