Young violinist Marta (K. Janda) and her husband, conductor Adam (A. Seweryn), are going through a marital crisis. After moving to Marta's hometown and a stay in New York, the woman accidentally encounters an old acquaintance of her mother, which causes tension in their relationship. The film portrays the protagonists' struggles with their own ambitions, jealousy, and desire for closeness, subtly revealing the complexities of human relationships. Adapted from a story by Andrzej Kijowski, it combines psychological drama with reflections on everyday life and family-marital relationships.
