A war comedy set in the spring of 1945, just before the end of World War II. A German general, hiding in a castle in the western territories, tries to reach his troops. However, a chance encounter with a Polish and a Soviet soldier leads to his capture. Through a series of comedic mistakes and misunderstandings, the general, the soldier, and the Soviet female soldier are forced to cooperate. Alcohol and absurd situations in the castle’s cellars lead to an unexpected understanding. As the characters begin to reveal their human sides, mutual fascination slowly emerges from their hostility. Against the backdrop of war, these comedic misunderstandings transform into a warm story of reconciliation and new beginnings.
