The Idol

In 1969, after the death of writer Piotr Korton, journalist Tomek Sołtan decides to investigate the mystery of his life and death. Fascinated by the writer's persona, he begins gathering information, visiting Korton's lover, Ilona, and his former acquaintances. Gradually, Tomek starts to imitate Korton, adopting his lifestyle, clothes, and habits. Over time, he increasingly identifies with the deceased writer, leading to the unraveling of his own life. In the end, driven by obsession, he attempts to repeat the risky feat that was Korton's trademark.
