The Wolf

After the tragic death of his wife Maryna, Kacper Wosiński experiences supernatural events as her spirit begins to haunt him, appearing in the form of Countess Julia, her nearly identical double. At the count’s estate, Kacper comes face to face with a wolf and the demonic eroticism of Julia, trying to fend off the sinister forces through a mix of science and folk beliefs. The film blends elements of horror, romance, and Polish Gothic tradition, setting the story against a wintry, insurgent backdrop of a noble manor.
