Deluge Redivivus

"Potop Redivivus" is a unique project brought to life thanks to the commitment of the National Film Archive. Director Jerzy Hoffman and cinematographer Jerzy Wójcik took on the artistic stewardship of a new version of one of the most spectacular films in the history of Polish cinema – "The Deluge." The film underwent a thorough digital restoration aimed at refreshing the visuals, improving both picture and sound quality, and imbuing it with a contemporary energy. The new version was also re-edited to make it more dynamic and better suited to modern audience expectations, all while preserving the historical essence and grandeur of the original.
