Before The Twilight

Jerzy, a former idol of the stage and screen, arrives at the peaceful Actors' Home in Skolimów to rest after an illness. His arrival turns the residents' routine upside down. Eccentric and full of energy, Jerzy rekindles the old hunger for performing among the aging artists and proposes a wild endeavor: staging "Faust" together. At the same time, Jerzy effortlessly and charmingly embarks on a romantic game with Małgorzata, an attractive staff member at the center. The film becomes a story about the last dreams of actors, about love that arrives when no one expects it, and about people who, despite the passing years, still want to stand once more in the spotlight.
