The story of a small inn that, on the day World War I breaks out, becomes a refuge for a group of Jews seeking shelter from the impending threat. Run by the old Tag, the inn, like the biblical Noah’s Ark, becomes a safe haven in a dangerous world. In this enclosed world, where war serves as the backdrop for human dramas. The film shows how the chaos and uncertainty of war transform the lives of ordinary people. The inn, a place usually filled with simple conversations and everyday concerns, becomes not only a sanctuary from the war but also a space where reflections on safety, home, and belonging are born. It is a story of solidarity, about how, in extreme situations, people can come together to face a common danger.
