The story of four young friends from the provinces who spend a lazy summer wandering through a sleepy countryside. The boys pass their days dreaming, joking, drinking cheap wine, getting into fights, and scouting for girls. Their world, full of carefreeness and youthful energy, changes when a group of female students arrives in town, upending the boys' established way of life. New relationships, emotions, and discoveries become a catalyst for reflection on coming of age, friendship, and first loves. The film is a portrait of youthful freedom, a longing for something greater, and the impending changes set against the backdrop of major historical events.
