The year is 1986. On his 35th birthday, popular singer Zbyszek Gąsior is going through a streak of misfortunes – struggling with a hangover, a guitarist’s injury, and a meeting with his old friend Ula, who has returned from an unsuccessful stay in Sweden feeling defeated. After the concert, a birthday party is held, marking the end of the band's tour. On the way back, Zbyszek gets off in his hometown of Moglina – visiting his mother, his father’s grave, and old acquaintances, which only deepens his sense of emptiness and life’s burnout. He returns to Krakow as a man painfully aware of his own loneliness.
